For many couples, leaving their four-legged friend off the guest list would be unimaginable. So, let us reassure you that dogs are welcome to celebrate in style at Ocean Kave. We will help you design your special day with your beloved pet in mind; perhaps they could be your ring bearer, or even give you away! We have even partnered with an excellent local dog-grooming service to make sure your dog is pampered and paw-fect ahead of the ceremony.
Set within 60 acres of countryside, Ocean Kave has plenty of beautiful outdoor space with wildflowers and meadows for your pooch to explore. Of course, we are lucky to have Westward Ho! Beach right on our doorstep, which we think your pet will love. We also have a selection of dog-friendly cottages within the grounds providing luxury accommodation for couples, families, and groups.
Dog Friendly Accommodation
Our luxurious bridal suites, complete with private enclosed gardens and sweeping views, are all dog friendly. If you are extending your stay with us, we have a selection of dog-friendly cottages available, many with hot tubs or lavish whirlpool baths.
Dog Friendly Reception
Your dog is welcome to attend receptions in our Rustic Barn and the Kave. We understand it’s important to ensure they are comfortable throughout the day, so we have some quiet spaces to relax if they are over-excited. We’ll also provide free fresh water all day long.
Grooming
It’s not just the happy couple who deserve to be pampered. We are fortunate to have professional dog groomers K9 Coastal Cuts on our doorstep. Subject to availability, you can drop your pooch off or Lorrayne will collect them and give them a gorgeous makeover for the ceremony.
Make them part of your wedding
We understand how important it is for your beloved pet to be part of your big day. If they’re not quite ready to be a ring bearer, what about including them in the form of an adorable cake topper, or a framed portrait on the welcome table?

How many dogs can I have at my wedding reception?
As long as you are comfortable with them being there we do not have limit on the number of dogs you bring, they will need to be on their best behaviour!
How can I make sure my dog looks fab for my dog friendly wedding?
We have a fabulous dog groomer next door who can collect and return your pooch after a pre wedding pamper
Do you have dog friendly accommodation?
Yes we do, most of our on site accommodation at Westward Living is dog friendly subject to their dog policy and a small surcharge.
