We are looking forward to welcoming you as a wedding guest to Ocean Kave. Over the years we have been asked many questions by guests, so this page has been created to give you a little more info ahead of your visit. Please get in touch if you have any specific questions – [email protected]
How do I find the venue?
The postcode is EX39 1AA, this will bring you halfway up Cornborough Road, we are at the end of Cornborough Road. You will pass a turning to Puse Hill on your left, keep following the road straight ahead, at the bottom of this road is a large sign with Ocean Kave and Westward Living clearly displayed. Turn into Ocean Kave and you will follow directional signage to lead you to the venue. (600m from the entrance)
Can guests leave their cars at the venue overnight?
There is no overnight parking for non-residents. If guests are staying with us in the cottages at Westward Living, they will have a designated parking space and cars are left at the owner’s risk. There is no overnight parking at the venue for non-resident wedding guests, so we strongly recommend you book a taxi in advance.
Can guests bring camper vans or tents and stay on site?
Sorry, this is not possible at Ocean Kave and guests are not permitted to sleep in vehicles on site.
Do you cater for guests with food intolerances?
We confirm food intolerances and allergies with the couple 6 weeks before the wedding, so make sure you have told them in advance as we will notbe able to make changes on the day.
Can we dance?
Yes,if you have booked our Small & Intimate wedding, we have plenty of space to dance in the rustic barn in front of our fairy light wall.
Can I have confetti?
Yes, you can, and it looks great in the photos, it will need to be environmentally friendly, natural petals to fit in with the natural environment. Biodegradable confetti or rice is not permitted. Check with the couple first as they may have other plans.
Where can our guests stay?
If your guests do not wish to stay on site at the Westward Living holiday cottages, we have a list of nearby local accommodation providers who are able to offer 1- or 2-night stays.
