Every couple is different and at Ocean Kave we pride ourselves in ensuring that each wedding is as unique as our couples. Over the years we have realised that it is the smaller, more personal occasions that are packed with emotion, joy and – most of all- love. We adore a micro wedding but there is something truly special about a wedding for two. An elopement has no agenda, politics,or stresses; it is about two people who love each other, trust each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together vowing to do just that – for each other and with each other, because they are all that they need.
All the photo's were taken within the grounds at Ocean Kave coastal wedding venuewhich meant the couple were able to stay here with us for all of their photos in this blog post.
It was a privilege for us to walk Hana to the Ocean Kave, where Samuel awaited her, looking dashing in a light grey suit with scarlet accents. Hana looked exquisite in a full-length scarlet gown, with traditional bridal henna on her hands; she looked naturally beautiful and utterly breath taking, embodying every little girl’s dream of bridal perfection.
Following the ceremony,at which we had the honour of being witnesses, the couple enjoyed a Pimm’s cocktail outside before heading to the clifftop where they enjoyed a delicious picnic packed with carefully selected local fare.
After their picnic, the couple took advantage of their stunning surroundings with spectacular photos that will act as a memento of their special day before returning to their romantic cottage The Paddocks, where they enjoyed melt-in-the-mouth slow roasted lamb shank served on a bed of sweet red cabbage, with red wine and rosemary jus and herby roast potatoes, blackberry and apple crumble with Devon clotted cream and custard, and raspberry and white chocolate brulé cheesecake.
In this busy age, there are so many reasons for people to postpone their wedding or delay making decisions. An elopement allows all of that stress to fade away. Our team will make sure that every detail is covered so that the couple can focus on each other and start the rest of their lives together as they should: united in their love and care for each other, and unclouded by external complications.
