When Keri and Lee began their search for the ideal coastal wedding venue, finding a location with mesmerizing coastal views and a dog-friendly atmosphere was at the top of their list. Ocean Kave, an intimate licensed wedding venue nestled on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean in North Devon, was their perfect match. This captivating venue set the stage for their journey into forever.
Their wedding weekend was a celebration from start to finish. Family, friends, and the couple’s beloved dogs, Luna and Nova, gathered at Westward Living Self Catering Holiday Cottages for a pre-wedding retreat, turning their big day into a weekend filled with laughter and love. The couple chose to get married inside the Ocean Kave, taking full advantage of the venue’s bespoke styling package, creating an ambiance of serenity and twinkling candles.
The bride was stunning in a floor-length lace gown paired with shimmering forest green shoes and a flower crown. The groom was equally dapper in a country-influenced neutral suit that matched the attire of their son.
The couple selected local acoustic wedding singer Yazzy Chamberlain to serenade them as guests assembled and during their ceremony. The acoustics inside the Ocean Kave complemented the vocals and created a truly romantic feel. As the bride entered the Kave, there was a hum of joy as she graced the aisle to meet her groom.
The ceremony itself was nothing short of magical. Amidst the stunning coastal panorama, Keri and Lee exchanged heartfelt vows, surrounded by their closest loved ones and adorable son. The celebration continued on the lawn with traditional Devon Cream teas, summer Pimm's, and bottles of beer.

After the Pimm's reception on the lawn, the couple and their guests adjourned to the Rustic Barn to enjoy an array of savory canapés and lawn games before feasting on a locally sourced BBQ. This was followed by the couple’s personal choice of banana split desserts, which were a hit with all the guests.
The day was full of love, and the couple celebrated not only their special day but also the birthday of one of their fabulous bridesmaids, which was marked with a cake chosen by the bride.
As day turned to night, guests enjoyed the ambiance in the barn and more tunes by local wedding singer Yazzy Chamberlain. Then the couple was whisked off to the beach by their photographer, Hollie Nicole Photography, for an incredible sunset beach shoot that they fully embraced.
Guests also enjoyed a delicious cake created by Lulu Primrose. Every detail had been considered, making the day a wonderful memory of a truly perfect wedding.
