Their wedding weekend was a celebration from start to finish. Family and friends gathered at Westward Living Self Catering Holiday cottages for a pre-wedding retreat, turning their big day into a weekend filled with laughter and love. The weather was a dream—a canvas of clear skies and the deep blues of the Atlantic, framed by vibrant pink flowers that now grace their cherished wedding album. The couple selected local florist Heather from Church Park Flowers to create their romantic and elegant floral display intertwined with the venues arch.

The ceremony itself was nothing short of magical. Amidst the stunning coastal panorama, Ellen and Joe exchanged heartfelt vows, surrounded by their closest loved ones. The celebration continued with traditional Devon Cream teas and sparkling elderflower, all while being serenaded by Saxtoria UK, creating the perfect soundtrack for their love story.

Capturing every precious moment was Hollie from Hollie Nicole Photography. A professional photographer familiar with Ocean Kave’s timeless beauty, Hollie ensured each snapshot was a testament to the venue’s charm, and idylic summer hues.  Hollie took the couple for a stunning beach shoot at Westward Ho! beach and created cherished memories to last a lifetime.

As day turned to night, guests enjoyed bespoke evening nibbles in the rustic barn, a cozy and fitting conclusion to a day brimming with love and joy.

Trimming our guest list was tough, but it allowed us to truly savour the day with those closest to us. We created a party atmosphere and splurged on things we really wanted, like live music and personal touches.”
