We were thrilled when Delia and Paul made the decision to reserve Ocean Kave for their intimate elopement wedding. They carefully selected a beautiful mid-August date to exchange their vows, and to make their celebration even more special, they extended their stay to a blissful week in our luxurious Royal Celerity Bridal Suite at Westward Living.

One delightful twist that set their wedding apart was the inclusion of Chomsky, their beloved Schnauzer, in the festivities. From the very first Zoom call where Chomsky made his charming appearance, it was clear that Ocean Kave had to go above and beyond to make this day unforgettable for Delia and Paul. To capture every precious moment, we enlisted the talented Jon Mayln from Indigo Perspective. Jon's impeccable timing was on full display when he skilfully captured the heartwarming moment Chomsky proudly delivered the wedding rings to his parents. While Schnauzers are known for their intelligence, Chomsky truly outdid himself (thanks in no small part to months of training with Paul).

Delia radiated beauty in her floor-length bridal gown, complemented by a rustic hand-tied foliage bouquet secured with a turquoise ribbon that perfectly matched the groom's accessories and Chomsky's lead.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed a champagne toast on our pristine lawn before heading to the Westward Ho! beach for a memorable photoshoot with their talented photographer.

As the sun began its descent, the couple, accompanied by Chomsky, retreated to the Kave for a romantic candlelit wedding picnic. Their hamper was brimming with delectable locally sourced treats. While the couple sipped on Prosecco, Chomsky joined in the celebration with his own dog-friendly beer.
