Tableware is a great way to add a pop of pink to your wedding reception.  If you have chosen to host your small and intimate wedding with us, our rustic barn has been designed to complement a Barbiecore wedding theme, the natural wooden floors and fixtures are a great back drop to any hot pink accents.  Our 2023 styling package already offers pink accents including beautiful hand blow glass charger plates, wine goblets and floral displays.  We work closely with a Devon based local wedding  stylist who can add additional touches for couples depending on their budget and preferences. We offer a wonderful BBQ in the Ocean Kave Rustic Barn, and can pimp up the pink with our homemade Rainbow coleslaw.  This delicious three course wedding BBQ starts with a selection of Chef’s canapes followed by a sizzling feast and selection of desserts made from locally sourced produce.

Your “I Do Crew” are another great way to showcase your Barbiecore themed wedding.

Your boys and girls can look equally as fab in pink, so have some fun with it, we are not saying that you need todress everyone up as Ken or Barbie, but there are some funky bridesmaid’s head bands, eye-catching shoes and accessories that can really turn heads.  For our more daring brides, a pink garter is a fun way to introduce a splash of pink!

At Ocean Kave we have a choice of licenced locations to host your wedding ceremony, each location enjoys a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and are each fabulous spots for the all-important confetti shot.  Due to our very special location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UNESCO BIOSPHERE we only permit real dried petals for confetti, there are some wonderful suppliers including Shropshire Petals who can source and create almost any colour.  After you have roller-skated down the aisle, your guests can shower you with hot pink petals and you take your first steps as newly-weds.

How about a bright pink neon sign? It may sound over the top, but Barbie and Ken were not known for fading into the background.
